I'm tired too, like you
The purpose of the journey reminds
To hold on. We've all changed,
Rather grown, to better or to worse
We met at this station, but soon the train will come
Taking us to our future, and the station will be a trivial joke; or would it?
If I was outside, I would have smiled
At my thoughts, my concerns
At the angry friend who is stressed and tired
But the grand scheme of things smiles at my thought to smile
Efforts are mine, but the results own me
So I work, destinations clear to the inner eye
Can we stop for a while, step outside
And look at each other? We'll see the change
How stranger we've become, to each other, to ourselves
And from that look shall wisdom awaken
I can hear the train already, but we don't have to run
To hold on, we’ve all changed
The purpose of the journey; lets just sit down
I'm tired too, like you
